Beauty IS

My 9yr old daughter won 2nd place in her school for the visual art competition.
This year the theme was Beauty is.....and she chose PEACE.

She also wrote a poem for the same theme.

BEAUTY IS EVERYTHING.

Children are here just to play
The Moon and the Sun are here to stay
My Dad is a very talented musician
I love the way he plays funky percussion.

The stars are bright and wonderful to see
The Ocean is big, much bigger than the sea
There are billions of galaxies with clusters of stars
Our solar system has eight planets and the first one is Mars

Everybody is different and we are also special
Our parents loves us so much and that's why they are so careful
Good and evil are always connected
When bad choices are made the universe will have them detected

Green trees and ferns make up an astounding view of Nature
You can do beautiful dance, but all you need is a good posture
Kids just love to dance and sing
They always find Beauty in Everything.

Every school year PTA conducts a program called “Reflections” which will bring out the Artistic Side of the children. Year 2008 ’s theme was ” WOW !!! ”. I am sharing this song as my 5 year old (NISHANT) won 1st prize for this song. He wrote and tuned this song by himself. My husband (SUBHA) played the backgroud music for the song. NISHANT is musically very talented. He is been singing since he was 2 yrs old. This is just for your Ears only and Your Good Wishes of course.
